Where Are Businesses, Organizations and Municipalities Failing Today?
Are you on track for success, or failure in your venture?

We see a lot of growth in the GDP see that the unemployment rate is as low as it has been in decades, and we see companies taking nearly anyone they can get to fill a position as quickly as possible out of desperation to sell more products or provide more services.
Where are we failing?
This may seem like a great situation in our communities. However, businesses are in more risk now than they have been in quite some time. It is important that we bring these details into the light and provide some answers to the problem. The problem? Workers are continuing to get injured on the job costing companies’ large amounts of money annually. There are people who have been on workers’ compensation reliance for years coming out and attempting to get jobs that could get them hurt even more than before. This is a major issue for all businesses.
Is there a solution?
Physical Capacity Profile (PCP), a testing system that provides post-offer testing, feels the responsibility to share a solution with businesses, organizations and municipalities who are striving to hire people for positions that they may or may not be fit to perform. After all, the last thing any company wants is to have to go through the burdensome task of a workers’ compensation claim.
The PCP answers the following questions:
1) Does a new hire have the strength and fitness required to do the job?
2)Does a new employee have a pre-existing injury?
3)Is an employee ready to return to their job, fit-for-duty, after recovering from an injury?
Why are these answers important?
Specifically knowing if your employee has the strength and fitness required to do the job is the basis of hiring them off of a contingent offer of employment.
Knowing if an employee has a lack of strength or an impairment will allow you to know if there should be any accommodations made reducing risk of an injury on the job site. Also, this pre-existing injury can be noted if a re-injury occurs on the job. This takes away any assumption that the employee was 100% healthy in that aspect of their health in the part re-injured. This can aid both the employers and the employees in workers’ compensation settlements. The goal in this case, is that the organization pays no more than their fair share, and that the employee receives their fair share.
Most importantly, being able to know the baseline strength level of the employee tested allows for organizations to help rehabilitate individuals back to their original baseline strength level. If they cannot be rehabilitated to that baseline level, then other options will need to be explored.
What size of organization does this pertain to?
Companies with over 5,000 employees down to 5, if you want to ensure your company has a safe and strong workforce, PCP testing is an excellent way to help maintain that healthy workforce. The PCP testing system is trusted by thousands of companies across the US in over 120 locations.
How does an organization go about testing with the PCP?
There are a number of ways the PCP family can assist you in attaining testing for your company. If you have in-house nursing staff or a medical facility in your facility, we can bring the PCP in, train up to four people and educate staff on how to conduct assessments.
If your company has been testing at an off-site location, such as a doctor’s office, urgent care center or the like, we can discuss adding the system with their existing programs. Many of these medical centers are open to considering this option as it can be a generator of funds.
How much does it cost?
With our new purchasing package, you can get a PCP for $3,900 down and as little as $450 per month! Most organizations see a great ROI and, in some cases, have it paid for in months. To learn more, click HERE !
Is your business failing in this area?
Do not feel alone. Many companies settle for something less objective and more subjective when it comes to post-offer testing. Meaning, the subjective testing can be more difficult, and in most cases, impossible to discern when and if it comes to litigation. Objective testing through PCP that is ADA and HIPPA compliant and has successfully undergone multiple EEOC audits over its’ three-decade long time in the industry is a selected choice to keep assets safe. A relationship we at PCP take very seriously.
