Testing Administrators
PCP Test Administration
Testing can be conducted in-house by a company’s own medical staff. This is possible because the system uses standardized testing procedures and certified test administrators. Data analysis and report generation is conducted at Occupational Performance Corporation’s (OPC) corporate offices, thereby eliminating the possibility of report manipulation.
Training to Administer Test
OPC instructors will train up to four individuals to administer the Physical Capacity Profile® (PCP) at the time of installation. Eight hours are required for the on-site PCP training. For the Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE), two full days are required for training. FCE training is conducted in Salina, Kansas.
Only individuals with one of the following credentials are eligible to be trained and certified to administer the PCP test:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (L.P.N.)
- Registered Nurse (R.N.)
- Advanced Registered Nurse (A.R.N.P)
- Licensed Practical Nurse Practitioner (L.P.N)
- Certified Physical Therapist Assistance (C.P.T.A.)
- Physical Therapist (P.T.)
- Registered Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (C.O.T.A.)
- Occupational Therapist (O.T.)
- Physician Assistant (P.A.)
- Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine (D.C.)
- Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)
- Athletic Trainer (A.T.C.) (by state)
Functional Capacity Evaluation
Only individuals who have been certified for Physical Capacity Profile® testing and have one of the following credentials are eligible to be trained and certified to perform the Functional Capacity Evaluation:
• Occupational Therapist (O.T.) • Physical Therapist (P.T.)
• Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)
• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)
